Santa Monica Studios’ Norse-themed sequel to the classic God of War trilogy was breathtaking when it launched. With a sequel planned for PS5, many players are likely to want to replay God of War ahead of time. Load times aren’t terrible on PS4, but switching over to PS5 offers some substantial improvements, especially when booting up the game.
Of all the PS4 and Xbox One AAA titles, perhaps none is more infamous for its load times than Destiny 2 . Booting up the game is a chose on current-gen machines, and then comes loading into the planets and Tower. Considering you have to go to the Tower to collect bounties, missions and decrypt engrams, getting around Destiny 2 is a chore. While we await the proper PS5 version coming December 8, playing the game on PS5 via backwards compatibility actually isn’t so bad. Load times are dramatically lower than on PS4, making getting around less of a chore. It excites us to imagine what next-gen load times look like.
The Dawning continues in **Destiny 2 ** and Guardians are adding holiday bakers to their repertoire. The "Great Destiny Baking Season" is showing players that Bungie wants them to be more than slayers of Taken, Cabal, Fallen, Vex, and Scorn, but also glorified food couriers, at least until January 5, 2021 when the event concludes. This means Destiny 2 has an ever-changing meta-game, and players are always trying to find the build that gives them the best edge. There’s nothing wrong with this kind of system, as it still has plenty of allowance for skill and team tactics at its higher levels. Outside of the upper-tier though, Destiny 2 is still very much about sifting through a multitude of build options in order to find an edge. It’s a very different game compared to the likes of classic Halo.
This is also true of online gaming experiences. Modern online shooters like Destiny 2 give players a staggering amount options when it comes to weapons and abilities. Players have their choice of several classes, with many sub-classes and even more abilities within those. One can come up with any number of combinations on those alone, and that’s without complimenting pieces of gear.
Cold Front has a different god roll in PvP compared to PvE in Destiny 2 new gear 2 . The idea here is to have a weapon that helps keeps players alive just as much as it dishes out damage on enemy Guardians. PvP is a chaotic endeavor and using weapons with proper rolls is every bit as crucial as playing smart in the Cruci
Morrowind’s pure RNG combat is a relic. It was even annoying at the time, so it’s no wonder that Bethesda moved away from it in subsequent games. Even so, it paired with the game’s character development process and gave players a reason to stick closely to their chosen classes and skills. If one didn’t either think of ways to quickly buff/build up their skill or invent tactics to give themselves an edge, then they weren’t going to get anywhere in Morrowind .
Convenience can be a good thing in many situations. It gives people more free time in their daily lives and, when it’s thoughtfully implemented, can make games feel good to play. Just like in real life though, too much convenience has its downsides. In some games it can rob players of chances to apply themselves and craft more interesting adventures. In others, too much convenience can quickly turn amazing moments into standard, perhaps even dull experiences. Too little convenience can make a game unenjoyable too though, so both gamers and developers alike should be careful of letting things go too far in either direction.
The primary perk Guardians will want for Cold Front is Subsistence. This roll automatically reloads the SMG from reserves, with the drawback of reducing how much ammo players can carry for the gun at once. The trade-off is worth it, though, as minimizing the need to reload will enable gamers to capitalize on the final roll for Cold Fr
Finally, gamers will want Swashbuckler for the weapon’s final perk. Vorpal Weapon could have been a good choice if the Avalanche were worth using against bosses, but the machine gun’s overall damage output is subpar compared to other machine gun options, such as Xenophage or Commemoration.
